Carbon and Building Footprint - Our Vision
At Footprint Energy, our vision is to provide effective, sustainable solutions in a changing environment, in order to save you money and reduce your 'footprint'.
Footprint Energy has the passion, knowledge, background and networks to provide a professional service. This is to guide and assist our commercial and residential clients along the path to economic and environmental sustainability.
How We Do Business
Quick turn around times are our promise. We are insured with the appropriate Public Liability (PL) and Private Indemnity (PI) insurances, and electronic or hard copies can be provided, reflective of client requirements.
Footprint Energy believes in practicing what we preach and consequently follow energy, waste and water efficiency principles and practices, such as:
Buying recycled and local Australian-made products where possible
Recycling paper, cardboard and co-mingled containers
Sourcing local products and services where possible
Purchasing carbon offsets for air travel
Installation of insulation and solar panels, and use of energy efficiency lighting and water efficient tapware in our office premises
Using fuel efficient work vehicles which emit 129grams/km of greenhouse gases or 4.9litres/100km
Capability Profile
Footprint Energy staff have 10-15 years experience providing building surveying and private consulting services, energy auditing and compliance work with residential and commercial businesses, and experience in all three tiers of government in Australia.
Our staff also have qualifications in building construction and environmental science, and have experience across different industries and organisations including the residential, industrial and commercial development sectors.
Ongoing training and allocation of time to keeping ourselves updated with the latest information in the marketplace, and affiliation with a number of key organisations is important to us to continue our professional approach to the services we offer.
